In a recent development, Adani Wilmar Limited, a major player in India’s consumer goods sector, has disclosed receiving a penalty order from Legal Metrology Officer, Mathura Division, Uttar Pradesh, according to the exchange filling.

The company made this announcement in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

The Indian multinational food and beverage conglomerate has been fined Rs. 50,000 for violating Section 18 r/w of Legal Metrology Packaged Commodity Rules, 2011.

The order dated August 21, 2024 has been received by the company through post on September 9, 2024.
