Hi-Tech Gears Limited has received an order from Excise & Taxation Department, Gurugram (W), Haryana raising a demand aggregating to Rs. 9,09,982/- (Rupees Nine Lakh Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Two Only) including interest and penalty, according to the exchange filling.
The order has been passed in accordance with Section 73 and section 50 of the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (“HGST Act, 2017”)/Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (“CGST Act, 2017”) read with Section 20 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (“IGST Act, 2017”).
The demand order is raised on an account of claim of input tax credit.
The company is in the process to file an appeal before appropriate authority against aforesaid order.
