Larsen & Toubro has received a favourable order of the Appellate Tribunal allowing the appeal filed by the Company and setting aside the entire demand of ₹ 702 crore.
The demand was related to the denial of Custom duty exemption.
The Company had filed Appeal with the Central Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, Ahmedabad against the order ‘passed by the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad towards Customs demand of ₹ 702 crore.
The company received the order on December 5, 2024. However, the same was communicated to the stock exchange on December 6, 2024.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
